Please introduce yourself and coordinate with the other housemates regarding parking as soon as you move in. We are not responsible for parking tickets incurred for blocking neighbors' driveways, so please be conscientious about street parking. Please note that parking availability is not guaranteed. We allow a maximum of one car per room, and oversized trucks or vehicles are not permitted. CLEANING: We have the communal areas of the house (kitchen/living room and bathrooms) cleaned at least weekly (usually more often), as well as after every check out. Our cleaners use bleach and other disinfectants to fully sanitize. We ask everyone to maintain a clean and respectful home by tidying up after themselves (washing your dishes, wiping off the counters after cooking, and wiping down bathroom sinks after using them) so that everyone enjoys a clean and tidy workspace. COVID PRECAUTIONS: To prevent the spread of COVID, we have implemented the following policies: - 72 hours between each reservation, for sanitization - Deep cleaning of each bedroom and bathroom after check-out - Weekly deep cleaning of common areas, including kitchen and living room and shared bathrooms - Strict no guest, visitor, friend or family policy. No extra people are allowed inside the house, to prevent the spread of this virus. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING THAT WILL COVER YOU AGAINST CANCELLATIONS IN RELATION TO COVID. Thank you for understanding! THINGS TO NOTE – AKA “READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK” 🚗 PARKING: A GLORIOUS, CHAOTIC ADVENTURE We have 4 parking spots (2 driveway, 2 garage), available first come, first served. That means we DO NOT guarantee a spot, especially if you roll up in an XL truck or a tank disguised as an SUV. This is the city—parking is a sport, and small cars usually win. If you drive a behemoth, prepare for a street-parking safari. 🏡 WELCOME TO CO-LIVING: AKA, DON’T BE “THAT” ROOMMATE This is a shared home, not a frat house or a one-person kingdom. If you're a tornado in the kitchen or allergic to tidiness, this isn’t the place for you. Be the kind of roommate you’d actually want to live with—and expect the same from others. 🔇 THIS HOUSE IS FOR CHILL, RESPECTFUL HUMANS If you appreciate a quiet, well-organized space with twice-weekly deep cleaning, you’ll fit right in. If you love blasting music at 2 AM or leaving mystery dishes in the sink, we kindly invite you to explore other housing options (far, far away). 🚫 NO GUESTS. NO VISITORS. NOPE. This is a co-living home, and we keep things quiet, safe and organized by not allowing outside guests. Your out-of-town friend wants to crash for a night? Nope. Your Tinder date wants to “just come up for a minute”? Also no. If we make exceptions, suddenly everyone has a plus-one, and trust me—you don’t want to deal with the extra noise, mess, and parking nightmares that would follow. Still with us? Awesome. You sound like our kind of guest—we’d love to have you at BAYHAUS! 🚀
