About the role
In this AI era, defensible businesses have a real network of humans that love and rely on the product.
We’ve built that network of 135k users and a product that allows people to earn ~$80M per year. We’re hiring an engineer to take what we’ve learned and help us build the next version of Ohana, which includes a completely fresh tech stack and mobile app.
This role is perfect for someone with 5+ years of experience who loves building products that help hundreds of thousands of people. The ideal candidate has built their own mobile app (ideally in the pre-AI era), designed a tech stack from end to end, and is excited to join a team that consistently wins through product creativity.
What you'll do
- Understand the fundamentals and iterate on our existing product
- Help the team design and develop our mobile app
- Design and implement scalable backend systems
- Own features end-to-end, from concept through deployment and iteration
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations to ship high-impact features
- Help define and evolve our overall tech stack and engineering best practices
- Debug issues across the stack and ensure a high-quality user experience
- Contribute to product decisions with a strong user-first mindset
